Then why not go to the States?
Has Clément Desalle suddenly no more American ambitions? Rockstar Suzuki team boss Sylvain Geboers already thinks so. In an interview with crack magazine about the current leader in the MX1 World Championship, Geboers let slip that a move to the US would no longer be an option for Desalle for the time being.
Geboers quotes, among other things Roger DeCoster's switch from U.S.Suzuki to Red Bull KTM as one of the reasons why Desalle would no longer embark on an American adventure. According to Geboers, there was inside the SuzukiFamily a career plan has already been drawn up for Desalle. After all, it was the intention that Desalle would collaborate with De Coster in America.
We also found out why Desalle is not so relaxed on the podium of a Grand Prix. The fact that prize money is no longer paid in the GPs could have something to do with this, according to Geboers.
