Valence: MX1 pole for Leok, MX2 for Frossard
In the MX1 qualifying, chrono specialist Tanel Leok started his day as he ended it yesterday. The Estonian was at the top of the tables this time, with Pourcel and Cairoli at second and third. Teka-Suzuki driver Clément Desalle could not get further than fourteenth place yesterday because he was hindered too often in a fast lap. This morning 'MX Panda' managed a sharp fourth time, which was barely 5 thousandths (!) of a second slower than Cairoli. Ken De Dycker finished eighth. This afternoon the MX1 and MX2 riders will each complete 2 heats of 20 minutes plus two laps. Finally, a combined MX16+MX50 super final is scheduled at 1:2 PM, also over 20 minutes and two laps.

This morning CLS Kawasaki-Pro Circuit-Monster Energy rider Steven Frossard was the fastest in MX2 qualifying. Jeffrey Herling rode well to fourth row, but Van Horebeek (sixth), Verbruggen (eighth) and Roelants (tenth) were also in good shape.
