Chisholm in pursuit of the title King of Bercy
American Kyle Chisholm won the second night of the SX of Bercy on Saturday evening. Chisholm preceded Tomac and Aranda in the final and is now equal with Tomac in the standings. Today will decide who will become King of Bercy.
It was an eventful evening at the POPB when Greg Aranda drove both Barcia and Weimer off the track after winning the super pole during the start of the American race. Aranda lost grip at the back and slid to the other side of the track. He hit Barcia's front wheel and Weimer also fell. BAM BAM Barcia took this personally, waited for Aranda and blocked him during the next round, and a small skirmish ensued. The crowd was completely on Aranda's side and went crazy when he even stood in the middle of the track during the race. Ultimately, Barcia did not compete again. Weimer gave up in the final after a few rounds with a painful knee. Barcia eventually apologized for the incident and the wrinkles were ironed out (until today anyway).
