Season over for Maxime Breugelmans
A major setback for Maxime Breugelmans. Her first motocross season comes to an early end! Last weekend she was injured during a race on the Genk circuit. The five-time European BMX Champion lost contact with the footrest and then fell on her foot. The daughter of former MX3 world champion Sven Breugelmans broke two bones in her foot but one was shattered into 25 pieces!
This morning the BeTeMo rider underwent surgery and will undergo a long rehabilitation, which means she will no longer be in action this season.
