Jago Geerts' recovery on schedule!
Kemea Yamaha can look back on a solid Turkish Grand Prix in Afyon. Ben Watson finished fifth, while teammate Anthony Rodriguez took seventh place. The recovery of Jago Geerts, who is suffering from a broken collarbone, is also going well.
Good news from the Kemea-Yamaha camp. Super rookie Jago Geerts is right on schedule to make his comeback in Assen in two weeks. The Belgian teenager broke his collarbone in Switzerland two weeks ago and went under the knife one day later. Since then, De Balenaar has been with his physiotherapist every day, where he prepares himself for his return.
Because Geerts had already built up such a buffer against his closest competitors, he did not lose any places in the standings despite missing the past six World Cup rounds. If all goes well, Jago can defend his seventh place in the MX2 world championship at the TT Circuit in Assen.
