VIDEO: Is the Flux Primo a formidable competitor for the Stark Varg?
Everyone agrees that the Stark Varg is currently the most important player in the electric dirt bike market. But there is competition on the way from Slovenia to challenge the Varg. There, work is underway on the Flux Performance Primo, which should roll off the production line at the end of this year.
The Varg has been for sale for a while and in terms of investments, the video mentions around 54.000.000 euros in development costs. The Flux Primo would have cost 50.000 euros but was developed from a different point of view. Flux CEO Marko Ukota focused on what was already known from the automotive industry, on battery endurance, a low center of gravity and getting a lot of power to the ground.
The Flux Primo has a top power of 85 HP, 7 KWH battery capacity, a longer range for riders who want to get the most out of it and a virtual clutch that helps you when you have to accelerate, without having to worry about clutch discs, springs or a slipping clutch.
In the 999lazer video the Stark Varg is compared to the Flux Primo from Slovenia. Which electric machine is the fastest over one lap?
