Another major setback for Sem de Lange
Last year was all about rehabilitation for Sem de Lange. The cross rider from Weiteveen fought back to level and has already managed to show great things this season. However, on Saturday, March 30, things went wrong during the KNMV Dutch MX National in Boekel where the GasGas rider crashed. In this crash he tore his anterior cruciate ligament and another ligament. In addition, the cruciate ligament also tore off a piece of bone from his tibia and a fracture was seen in his lower leg.
Sem de Lange:
“My season is over again and that is extra sad because I was just getting the good feeling back. I need to rest the knee first. It's all still swollen and sore at the moment and then we have to schedule an operation.”
