VLM/JMS will collaborate with VJMO/MCLB
Yesterday there was a message on social media about a brand new partnership between VLM/JMS and VJMO/MCLB. Both amateur federations have joined forces so that amateur cross riders can continue to enjoy his/her hobby.
Below is the message announced by the VLM.
VLM/JMS has taken matters into their own hands to look for further agreements within the Flemish motocross landscape. We have visited the places of VJMO/MCLB to look for mutual agreements in which we can do more for each other. This is always with the aim of continuing to give motocross its place in Flanders and allowing the many amateurs to practice their hobby.
The fact that times are changing has not escaped the notice of VLM/JMS and VJMO/MCLB. There were already collaborations with various federations and we want to continue to do so for the benefit of our affiliated pilots. A more intense collaboration with the VJMO/MCLB federations is announced, so that the motocross enthusiast continues to earn his place within the motocross landscape that is rich in Flanders and Belgium.
Working together makes us enthusiast federations strong and that will also be the motto in the future ... because the enthusiast motocross rider deserves it! In concrete terms, it was agreed that the exchange of pilots on competition-free days will be given priority. The acceptance of pilots on the basis of their issued license will be expanded. Based on their permit, they can participate in the categories of the other federations and are eligible for the daily classification and for the categories where an expense allowance is provided, also for expense reimbursement.
The individuality and internal regulations of each federation are retained, such as the rankings at championships, etc. and this compared to the guest drivers. Registrations for the 2024 competition are set at €5/driver between the federations and €10/driver for other guest drivers on a delegation basis. Together with the enthusiast federations, we aim for a future where pilot motocross riders can practice their hobby every week. In these times with key words such as 'respect' and 'tolerance'.
Let us all make it a beautiful and sporty 2024 where motocross triumphs on an enthusiast level.
