Sven van der Mierden out for months
Sven van der Mierden had to miss the match in Lierop due to an injury. Last weekend in Oss, the Kawasaki rider was at the start, but there was fog early in the first moto. Things went wrong during the first Dutch MX National (Formerly ONK) at 'De Witte Ruijsheuvel'. During a serious crash, the shoulder became dislocated. Initially, the Brabander wanted to continue, but it soon became apparent that the shoulder did not feel right. Left the match and after further investigation it was decided to undergo surgery. As a result, Van der Mierden will not be able to take action for the next three months.
