An update about Jago Geerts
The Balenian suffered a heavy fall last week during the first minutes of the qualifying heat in Argentina. His left elbow became dislocated and he also broke his collarbone. Yesterday, Jago Geerts was successfully operated on in the hospital in Genk.
Jago Geerts: “Yesterday I underwent surgery on my left elbow and on my right collarbone. I would like to thank the surgeons Dr Ludwig Anné and Dr Gert-Jan Opsomer (shoulder) and Dr Duerinckx and Dr Pieter Caekebeke (elbow), the medical staff of the hospital Genk Oost-Limburg ZOL, Belgium and my team for the good care. .
