Adamo and Coldenhoff win a Hawkstone Park
Italian world champion Andrea Adamo won the MX2 today during the international competition in Hawkstone Park. Glenn Coldenhoff was the best in MX1.
The MX2 class was dominated today by Andrea Adamo. He faced little opposition and won both heats. In the first series, Hakon Osterhagen of the JM Honda Racing team finished second ahead of the Dutchman Cas Valk. Maximilian Werner finished third ahead of Bradley Mesters. In series two, Adamo was able to hold off another well-driving Cas Valk. Osterhagen now came third. The overall victory of course went to Adamo, who was flanked on the podium by Valk and Osterhagen.

Glenn Coldenhoff (Fantic Factory Racing MXGP) won the MX1 by finishing second twice in the series. It was Romain Febvre who won the first series ahead of Coldenhoff and Pauls Jonass. Jeffrey Herlings, who made his first competition meters in England, finished fourth. Roan van de Moosdijk scored 9th place. The victory in series two went to Herlings, who kept Coldenhoff and Jonass behind him. Jeremy Seewer now finished fourth while Isak Gifting and Brent Van Doninck finished fifth and sixth. The overall victory goes to Coldenhoff. Herlings took second place while Pauls Jonaas from the Standing Construct Racing Team was on the podium.

Jeffrey Herlings was the best in the Superfinal today. He won this heat ahead of Coldenhoff and Febvre. Adamo was the best MX2 rider in sixth place.
