Fantic goes to their third Dakar Rally with a strong team
On Friday, January 5, 2024, the 46th edition of the toughest rally in the world will start from Al Ula in Saudi Arabia and will finish in Yanbu on the banks of the Red Sea. After a year of preparation, the Fantic Racing Team is ready for the Big Adventure. In the starting blocks: Jane Daniels, Tommaso Montanari and Jeremy Miroir on the XEF 7.891 Rally Factory motorcycle.
After their first attempt in the Dakar Rally in 2022 with the prototype XEF 450 Rally, Fantic came this year with the production model that is still in development with Franco Picco and Alex Salvini in the factory team.
The 24th edition of the Dakar takes the Italian manufacturer to the next level with a more serious attempt and with a three-man driver line-up. Former European and Italian Enduro Champion Tommaso Montanari, French former Enduro Champion Jeremy Miroir and current Enduro Women World Champion Jane Daniels will head to Saudi Arabia on January 5.
All three riders took part in the 2023 Morocco Rally to guarantee their place in Dakar and for Daniels at least it was crucial to fulfill the requirement.
In addition to riding skills, riders are required to use a combination of endurance, adaptability, determination and team spirit to tackle the most exhilarating and grueling experience in motorsports. At their side is an entirely Italian team and a valuable ally to face waking up with a smile, as well as the pleasant conviviality in the bivouac at the end of a long day.
For the 2024 edition of the Dakar, Fantic Motor SpA can count on the energy of Lavazza, a world leader in the coffee sector, which has been committed for years to the sport with which it shares common values such as the pursuit of excellence, innovation, conviviality, inclusion and passion .
