Cedric Grobben chooses GasGas
After two tough seasons at Yamaha, Cédric Grobben was ready for a new challenge. The reigning Inters VLM champion will from now on play for GasGas Belgium!
The Limburger was the strongest at VLM in both 2023 and 2022. However, with his switch to red he returns to a familiar stable. In the past, Grobben also used products from the KTM group. In 2019 he won, among other things, the 12 hours of La Chinelle for the official KTM team.
Cedric Grobben: “I am very happy with my return to the Pierer Mobility group (ed. official name of the KTM group), with the full support of GasGas Belux. As a result, I can now really look forward to a sporty and injury-free 2024 MX season. We have already completed several test days on the GasGas MC450F and they are very promising for the new season! I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of this agreement. Of course also a thank you to my family, girlfriend Amber, the entire team around me, minus trainer Eli and all sponsors of 2023 such as Yamaha, Starwood Racing, G2 Designs, Rynopower, Paesen Trucks, DT1, Chapewerken Wes and FXR.”
Stefaan Minne, Sales Service Manager GasGas:
“We are very pleased with the arrival of Cedric. We have known him for many years and he has also given us great results in the past. That is why he was still welcome to become the standard bearer of GasGas Belux again for several years. The entire GasGas team wishes Cedric the best of luck!”
