Simons keeps a small chance of winning the title with day victory in Eersel
Amber Simons won the competition in the women's class last Sunday. In Eersel, the Limburg rider was slightly stronger than Britt van der Werff in both heats. This means she still has a small chance of winning the title in this class. However, Britt van der Werff did the best business. With two second places in the heats, she lost twelve points from her lead, but her starting position for the last race in Bergharen remains as good as ever. On October 8, she will need 74 points to extend her title. With two third places, third place in the daily rankings went to Kaylee van Dam.
Jenitty van der Beek finished fourth twice in the heats and therefore also fourth in the daily rankings. Millie Welters completed the top five with a seventh and fifth place in the heats. She stayed ahead of Denise Morren based on the second heat.
