Kay de Wolf at the start in Meijel!
Next Sunday the KNMV Open Dutch Championship 250cc will continue in Meijel. After many years, the KNMV is again a guest on the Limburg circuit. Kay de Wolf has registered for this competition as a final test before the return to the FIM world championship. The Husqvarna rider won the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross 250cc earlier this year, won a Grand Prix and was in the lead of the World Championship! The Brabander is not the only rider with GP experience, as Hakon Fredriksen will also compete for Riley Racing-Yamaha. The Norwegian will make his return behind the starting gate after 14 months of injuries!
With three races to go, Kjeld Stuurman is in the lead in the standings ahead of Boris Blanken, who showed up strongly during the GP in Arnhem last month. Lotte van Drunen and Shana van der Vlist also managed to shine there and both ladies will also start on Sunday
