Karssemakers takes the silver ahead of Valk
The last race of the European 250cc Championship was won by Marc-Antoine Rossi. The Frenchman finished first and second on the Matterley Basin circuit, making a strong comeback after his injury. The VRT driver wins ahead of teammate Ferruccio Zanchi (6-1) and Karlis Alberts Reisulis (3-4) completes the podium. The battle for silver in the final standings was won by Kay Karssemakers, he finished second in the final standings behind Andrea Bonacorsi but ahead of Cas Valk. A strong last race for Jens Walvoort, he finished both heats in tenth place.
Bradley Mesters now crosses the finish line in 18th, Wesly Dieudonne (21st), Nicolas Vennekens (24th) and Lotte van Drunen (25th) do not score.
