Hollbacher comes within 3 points of Schmidt
The final of the FIM Supermoto World Championship in Mettet promises to be very exciting! The sixth match of the season was won by Lukas Hollbacher who managed to win everything in Alcarras, Spain. Because Marc-Reiner Schmidt was visited by the unlucky devil during the super final, he did not get further than ninth place. This means that the German only has a three-point lead over the KTM rider. Multiple champion Thomas Chareyre finished second in the overall standings ahead of Schmidt.
Romain Kaivers was the only Lowlander in Spain, he finished thirteenth. The final of the World Championship will be held during the Superbiker in Mettet on October 7-8!
