Van der Mierden takes the heat victory in Boekel
The eleventh race of the KNMV Open Dutch Championship 500cc was won by Sven van der Mierden. The Brabander who managed to score a GP point in Arnhem last week won the first and only round in Boekel. Marcel Conijn came second behind the GasGas driver and Joel van Mechelen completed the podium in front of his own audience. Freek van der Vlist is still injured and did not play on the 'Circuit Bezuidenhout'.
