This is how you watch the MXGP of the Czech Republic this weekend
This weekend the top riders from the Motocross World Championship will compete in their twelfth race of the 2023 calendar. It can be done in the Bohemian municipality of Loket, where the MXGP of the Czech Republic has been held for many years. We will discuss the options with you to follow the match live.
This beautiful location has been visited since 1995, when Joël Smets won the GP. This weekend we are looking forward to Tim Gajser making his return appearance. In Loket, in addition to the MXGP and MX2 series, EMX65, EMX85 and EMX2T will also be at the start. And we should also mention the MXE class, where the youngsters ride two short series with their electric minicrossers. The EMX65 and EMX85 will ride their finals of the European Championship there.
Online
You can watch the matches live on Saturday and Sunday via your PC, tablet or smartphone mxgp-tv.com. For the race in the Czech Republic you pay 17,99 euros. You can also use a one-month subscription, which will cost you 29,99 euros. A season pass currently costs 122,99 euros if you want to follow all the races. The MXoN in Ernée is also included.
Our northern neighbors can also watch via discoveryplus. com. For 6 euros per month you can watch all matches live. In certain cases (Android) you can also watch via an app on your smartphone or tablet. This option would also be rolled out for Belgians in the future.
The Dutch can also watch the two MXGP series via a live stream on nos.nl. The first series starts at 14:15 PM, the second at 17:10 PM. Belgians cannot watch this stream due to geoblocking.
Tip: You can easily transfer a live stream via PC/tablet/smartphone to your TV set with a handy device from Google, the so-called Chromecast. The device is for sale from 40 euros and can be found in any electrical store.
TV
Telenet customers can watch the MX2 and MXGP live if they pay for the Play Sports channel. The first series of MX2 will therefore be broadcast from 13 p.m. You can watch a repeat of the four series on Monday, July 17 from midnight.
The VRT gives a short summary of the match via their news broadcasts and Sporza.
