Are there big changes coming at Yamaha?
In recent weeks, 'radio paddock' has been running at full speed with Yamaha in the leading role. The contract with Wilvo MXGP is expiring and according to the first reports the collaboration will not be extended. According to our information, Hans Corvers (KEMEA Racing) will run Yamaha's MXGP team with Jago Geerts and Maxime Renaux. It is still unclear to us what the plans are for Jeremy Seewer. Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing has previously indicated that it wants to make the switch to the World Championship. That seems to be happening in 2024 with Andrea Bonacorsi and Thibault Benistant.
Who will run the EMX250 program is another good question! The Reisulis brothers and Ivano van Erp would be housed there for 2024. Louis Vosters' plans are also unclear, there are rumors that Husqvarna will be active in the MXGP again in 2024, but is that with the team from Bergeijk?
