Herlings wins his first pole of the year
Jeffrey Herlings won his first RAM Qualifying Race of the season in Kegums. The KTM rider was chased by Jorge Prado, but the Spaniard lost one point of his lead in the standings. Ruben Fernandez, who made the best start, finished third ahead of Glenn Coldenhoff and Romain Febvre.
Calvin Vlaanderen came sixth and Brian Bogers was good for ninth place. Brent Van Doninck takes the last point on Saturday afternoon, the Honda rider crosses the finish line in tenth. Jeremy Seewer crashed at the start and the winner of the French GP did not get further than 22nd place.
