Bax/Cermak win the first GP heat in Lommel
In a spectacular heat of the GP Sidecars in Lommel, Etienne Bax and Ondrej Cermak managed to take victory, despite a difficult start. The duo had some problems at the start, but managed to recover and work their way to the front during the race.
The holeshot was taken by Prummer/Steegmans, who had a promising position at the start of the race. However, as the race has progressed, they have slipped to 16th place.
Particularly exciting was the performance of Hermans/van den Bogaart, who came through the first corner in second place and later led for no less than 11 laps. Unfortunately, their machine broke down, forcing them to abandon the battle prematurely.
A remarkable performance was delivered by Keuben/Rietman, who came through the first corner in eighth place but crossed the finish line in second place. This duo managed to gain impressive ground during the race.
Wilkinson/Millard finished in third place, having come from fifth position.
