Prado remains ahead of Herlings in qualifying
Jorge Prado took pole position in front of his home crowd during the Spanish Grand Prix. The GasGas driver managed to stay ahead of Jeffrey Herlings in a nice duel at the Circuito Internacional Comunidad de Madrid. The 28-year-old Dutchman finished second ahead of Jeremy Seewer. Glenn Coldenhoff can go to the starting gate sixth, while Calvin Vlaanderen qualified ninth for the races on Sunday afternoon.
Brian Bogers takes the very thankless eleventh place while Brent Vandoninck has to settle for thirteenth place. The match was restarted after Romain Febvre crashed hard and required medical assistance.
Tomorrow at 14:15 PM and 17:10 PM both heats will be held at the Arroyomolinos circuit. The images can be viewed LIVE via MXGP-TV.com, the DiscoveryPlus App and the Belgian Playsports! The NOS has a Livestream via the website.
