Valin makes the crowd cheer, Doensen takes four points
In Villars Sous Ecot, Mathis Valin won the first round of the fourth race of the European 125cc Championship. The Frenchman won by a wide margin over Vitezslav Marek and Maximilian Werner. The leader in the standings, Janis Martins Reisulis, crashed twice and had to settle for sixth place. The only Laaglander in the points is Gyan Doensen, the WZ Racing rider crosses the finish line in seventeenth.
The Belgians Douwe Van Mechgelen (30th) and Ian Ampoorter (31st) qualified for the matches but did not score. The second heat will be held tomorrow morning, which will take place at 11.55 am. Can Reisulis still give the MJC Yamaha Team victory during their home race?
