Reisulis puts the EMX125 to his will
Janis Martins Reisulis' match in Frauenfeld did not go smoothly, but he recovered in Arco di Trento. The Yamaha rider wins both heats during the second race of the European 125cc Championship. Maximilian Werner (2-4) and his teammate Elias Escandell (5-2) climb onto the podium. Gyan Doensen is clearly feeling good in this championship, the WZ Racing rider finishes fourth thanks to a fourth and seventh place during the heats.
Unfortunately no points for the Belgians, Ian Ampoorter (25th) and Douwe Van Mechgelen (32nd) managed to complete both heats. This gives them important experience for later in the season. Major absent is Damian Knuiman who managed to win eight points during the previous match.
After two games, Reisulis already has a thirteen point lead over Escandell. This championship will continue on April 29-30 at the Agueda circuit for the Portuguese GP.
