Pauls Jonass not at the start in Trentino
This Sunday the fourth MXGP will be held on the edge of the Italian Dolomites in Trentino. Unfortunately, Latvian rider Pauls Jonass will not be at the start due to an injury.
Here is the announcement from the Standing Construct Honda MXGP Team:
“Unfortunately @paulsjonass41 will not be at the start this weekend at the @mxgp of Trentino in Pietramurata, Italy. Pauls had a serious crash during the second round of the Swiss Grand Prix in Frauenfeld and suffered a large bruise on his hip and thigh. After seeking medical advice from a specialist in Herentals, Belgium, it was deemed impossible for Pauls to ride a motorcycle safely in the coming days.
This has led to the difficult decision to withdraw him from the #MXGP of Trentino. Pauls will now focus on recovery, with the aim of being in top form for the MXGP of Portugal in two weeks. Thanks to all the fans for their continued support! ”
