ONK Sidecar Cross Oldebroek in pictures!
Last Monday, on Easter Monday, the very first ONK Sidecar Cross of 2 took place. There was plenty to see again at the De Bargen circuit!
There was a very cheerful club gentleman from Oldebroek selling thumbs at the entrance to the circuit!
Due to Nikki Debruyne's serious injury, Daniël Willemsen now 'agreed' with Aivar van der Wiel.
The 'Table Mountain' in Oldebroek is even a great opportunity for the sidecars to get some serious airtime!
Gert van Werven also rose above the high fences on his native soil.
The new additions also jumped around happily. Here the Jonkman brothers, one of the many young teams within the NK Sidecar.
Hoppa on the neck and high above everything. This way you don't miss anything from the start.
Stand your ground!!! The start at the Sidecar Masters is and remains impressive. Take a close look at the line from #199 – #3 – #75 – #112. Nice play, I thought!
The returning Niklas Hotze immediately took a heat victory in the NK B group with his Danish baking player Mikkel Modjaer!
A lot of sand was moved again in Oldebroek!
Everything running smoothly? Probably not! Certainly not with the sidecars!
Nijenhuis/V.d.Kolk received an unexpected visit from father and son Visser on the inside.
In the first heat, Bax/Cermak got into an unfortunate tangle with team Meulenbroek in second place.
Robbie Bax skims close to the still stranded brother Etienne.
Team Willemsen and Wilkinson, who were riding close behind, also had to make a mandatory (short) stop, but were able to continue quickly.
Fortunately, we still have the bacon like here Margriet from the Achterhoek. These types of toppers continue to do their work in all weather conditions.
….So that team #10 Tjerry Bieten, among others, can continue racing…..
....but if you are in pain after a fall, she and her team will come to the rescue!
Reipen/Van Dommelen in the bend!
The always cheerful Davy Sanders was also present in Oldebroek.
Fans from Austria even came to Oldebroek!
Have they been working so hard... everything has to be demolished again.
Fortunately, repair work was quickly carried out.
With your cool Prada glasses and cool look, look at the tractor that straightens the starting field. Pho!!!!
Also a good story...I think.
Meanwhile the first drops started to fall.
And those few drops turned into a heavy shower!
In any case, it did not deter the real diehards!
What are these monkeys looking at???
Probably to this lady who gives nuts to another monkey behind the fence 😉
The track was not improved by the weather. Chaos trumps the last sidecar heat.
Willemsen rammed through everything the old-fashioned way again! Daniël may be slightly inferior in terms of pure speed in 2023, but still top class in terms of driving style!
It didn't seem to bother the teams at the front. Hermans/Van den Boogaart (2x 1st) and Keuben/Rietman (2x 2nd) rode stable and fast!
There were big holes and ruts in the track again!
Raft/Horyon falls into a real sinkhole here!
This is how a great motorsport day came to an end!
It was a beautiful day full of excitement and sensation!
When they returned, they found this beautiful message under the windshield wiper!
Until next time, Oldebroek circuit!
