On Easter Monday, the opening competition of the ONK and NK sidecars and quads will be held on the Bargen circuit in Oldebroek during the Van Werven ONK Sidecars.
Easter and motorsport at 't Loo in Oldebroek, for many a tradition that is continued from generation to generation. Excitement, spectacle, sand, mud, deep ruts and high jumps. The weather forecast seems favorable, so all the ingredients are there for a great day of fun!
Due to the cancellation of the ONK in Varsseveld, the season will kick off in Oldebroek. While the quad riders have not yet competed in an official competition, the sidecar teams have already completed two World Championship competitions. In Spain and Portugal it was Team Vanluchene who won all heats. Vanluchene and Musset are not there in Oldebroek because they prefer the French Championship. Etienne Bax and Ondrej Cermak had a difficult start to the season, but will give everything to prolong their ONK title. Koen Hermans will compete with four-time world champion Ben van den Bogaart. Will they go home with the biggest cup?
We can also put Gert van Werven, born and raised in Oldebroek, on the list of favorites. Together with Robbe de Veene he took a podium place in Spain. In Portugal, Justin Keuben and Dion Rietman just missed the podium. Will they be able to pick up a cup in Oldebroek? Ruben van Werven is riding his home race in Oldebroek. The youngster will want to score optimally in front of his own audience. From abroad we have to keep an eye on Brett Wilkinson-Joe Millard, among others. The Belgian Davy Sanders also likes to ride on the Bargen and will be there on Easter Monday!
Several regional teams will start in the NK class. For all participants, Oldebroek remains a special track to ride in every respect.
If you don't want to miss any of this, you should be at the track at 08:30 am when the training sessions start. The starting gate will drop for the first time around 11:30 am.
