Cato Nickel takes hard-fought victory
With two second places and one victory, Cato Nickel has won the first match of the ADAC Youngster Cup. The 18-year-old rider wins the race in Fürstlich Drehna ahead of his WZ Racing teammate Mike Gwerder (9-3-1) and Peter König (5-10-3). The best Dutchman was Jens Walvoort, the KTM SB Racing rider finished sixth in the daily standings behind teammate Nico Greutmann.
Scott Smulders managed to score in two rounds, but unfortunately the Belgian Junior Bal was unable to score. This championship will continue on May 13-14 at the Molln circuit.
