Who won the Argentina GP in the past?
The Motocross World Championship starts this weekend in Argentina. The country has a richer motocross tradition than you might initially think. For example, a Grand Prix was held as early as 1985.
It was the Finn Pekka Vehkonen who won the 1985cc Grand Prix at the Salta circuit in 125. A year later it was Dutchman Dave Strijbos who topped the podium in Argentina. After 1995 there was no competition for two decades, but from 2015 it was business as usual again. That requires a list.
