VIDEO: Is this GasGas MC250 the last carburetor model from Austria?
You have to give it to the engineers in Mattighofen, they have always continued to develop the two-strokes and that has done them no harm. Respect is due for such insight. We don't have exact figures, but we would like to know how many two-strokes the KTM group sold last year. Since this year, the two-stroke KTM and Husky crossers have even been equipped with fuel injection and an electric starter.
This means that if you want a two-stroke motocross bike with a carburetor from Austria, you are obliged to choose a GasGas. The MC125 and MC250 are the last models with conventional models and a kick starter. It also appears that GasGas will also come up with injection and a starter motor next year. It is therefore nice to know what the 2023 GasGas MC250 with carburetor has to offer.
Those tinkerers who do not care for modern injection hocus pocus could turn this last Austrian with a conventional gas factory into a collector's item.
