Vanluchene/Musset win the French Championship in Illats
Marvin Vanluchene/Nicolas Musset won the first round of the French sidecarcross championship with force majeure. The French Prunier brothers came second overall. Third place in the final standings went to the Estonian Gert Gordejev, who is riding this season with the Dutch baking player Aivar van der Wiel at his side.
The Belgian-French tandem of Vanluchene/Musset were untouchable in Illats and won all three heats with force majeure. The French brothers Prunier, the reigning French champions, finished second twice and fourth in the last heat, but that was more than enough to take second place overall. Gordejev/Van der Wiel finished third in the French mud. They rode three thorough heats and even took a nice 2nd place in the last heat behind winners Vanluchene/Musset. The Belgian Jason Vandaele also competed in France and finished fourth together with his baking player Kostas Beleckas from Lithuania.
