Technique: The installation of a foam inner tube
The do-it-yourselfer who regularly installs a mousse as an inner tube may have developed his own technique. However, today we will pay attention to the working method of Nitro Mousse, a well-known manufacturer of solid inner tubes.
Installing and removing a foam inner tube can cause a lot of annoyance, but that is because the correct method is not applied. The way of working in Nitro Mousse's videos is inspired by dexterity and little force. They use a lot of tire levers and some tools that every motocross rider has at home.
Don't forget to use a mounting gel. This gel ensures better heat dissipation, prevents extra friction and gives the mousse an improved lifespan. Tape your valve holes to prevent moisture from getting into the tire and potentially washing away the gel. Use one tube per wheel.
