Strong Bonacorsi wins, Karssemakers on podium!
No one could match Andrea Bonacorsi, the Italian wins the first race of the European 250cc Championship in Riola Sardo. The Yamaha rider manages to stay ahead of Quentin Marc Prugnieres (3-3) and Kay Karssemakers (5-2). Cas Valk and Ivano van Erp finish fourth and fifth respectively, and Bradley Mesters scores a particularly good seventh place in the second heat.
This championship will continue in three weeks and then again in Italy. The second race will be held on the Arco di Trento circuit!
