Jere Haavisto wins second BC test in Tessenderlo
After a Scandinavian victory in Lommel, it was again a prize for a northerner in Tessenderlo. The young Finn Jere Haavisto won both series in the 500cc class.
He had to compete with Cedric Grobben, but he could only manage four points in the first series after he hit a post and had to be sidelined due to a defective exhaust. Nolan Cordens came second in this series. In heat two he again had to compete with Grobben, but he also managed to win this heat. Haavisto wins the match ahead of Brent Aerden and Jilani Cambré.
In the 250cc it was the Luxembourgish rider Bryan Boulard who won the first series. Unfortunately, he dropped out in the second heat and was not eligible for a podium finish. The overall victory went to Ilan Heirwegh with a second and first place in the series. Marnick Lagrou finished second in the final standings ahead of Dieter Vromans. The next BC test will be held next weekend in Vorselaar.
