Duell becomes distributor of Mobius braces in the Benelux
Finnish Duell Corporate, Scandinavia's largest distributor of parts, clothing and accessories for motorcycles and motorcyclists, has been granted exclusive rights to sell its protection products by Mobius Technologies. The agreement came into effect on March 1 and covers the entire product range and is exclusive to the Benelux, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Slovenia.
Founded by Scott Watanabe in 2014 in Idaho (USA), Mobius Technologies has been following one main goal since the very beginning: to design, develop and produce the safest and most comfortable knee and wrist braces for all types of off-road motorsports and MTB. The core of the Mobius technology knee brace is the patented CCRS (Continuous Cable Routing System) which is not only aggressive and technically resistant to negative forces such as rotational and lateral forces, but which also offers much more comfort when worn compared to the conventional rigid structures. Former MX and SX superstar Ryan Villopoto was part of the product development from the beginning, using Mobius knee braces in his heyday.
Under the guidance of a consultant orthopedic surgeon, Mobius developed a material based on a selection of glass-filled nylon, as that material is not only extremely impact resistant, but also allowed it to structurally perform according to design expectations. Thanks to this unique technology, the shells comfortably form a “sleeve” of support above and below the knee to resist negative forces. A special foam to cover the entire shell structure that is designed to conform to the physiology of the individual while also having very durable qualities.
Today Mobius offers the most comfortable knee and wrist braces that not only protect at the highest level of safety, but can even be worn during a whole day of hard training. The Mobius Compression Sleeves are manufactured by a medical industry partner that specializes in compression technology and have been measured to be able to increase blood flow by up to 25%. This increases strength, endurance and recovery of important muscle groups.
Jarkko Ämmälä, CEO of Duell Corporation, is pleased that Mobius is being added as a new top brand to the Duell portfolio: “We at Duell are constantly looking for the best brands available to make our favorite powersports safer and more comfortable. Mobius is one of those unique brands with a smart solution that I would have dreamed of during my former professional career as an MX rider. We are more than happy to offer this equipment exclusively to our customers.”
