The VMCF starts this weekend in Ninove
The new season has already started at several other federations, and VMCF will also start on Sunday with its first competition in Ninove. As we have reached the milestone of 400 fully completed permits this week, this already promises to be a success.
This weekend the Flemish Motocross Federation VMCF will also get its season underway with the competition in Outer-Ninove. On Saturday March 25 there will be free training for everyone, even for vintage cars and pit bikes. The full VMCF program will be on the menu on Sunday, March 26. Leisure riders and recreationalists are also welcome.
As many of you know, the board has been rejuvenated with Ivo Peeters as our new chairman, Els Bamps who takes care of the secretariat, Eric Rotté remains the treasurer and Alain Hoolants takes a step back and has become honorary chairman.
A sports committee was also set up in the winter, led by Ingrid Coeckaerts. She receives help from Luc Defraine, Bruno Van Eyck, Andy Francis and Frank Desmet. They will assist the board in all kinds of areas. Are the pilots in the right series according to their abilities, should a pilot be sanctioned? Monitoring that no pit bikes and E-bikes drive along the course and in the parking lot, is the environmental mat used? A sound meter was also purchased and will have to be checked.
There will also be a strict check whether everyone complies with the rules of the flags.
Since we are experiencing some problems with the post this year, including shipments that are in transit for 2 weeks, the license cards that are in the 2de half of last week were no longer sent, so these can be collected during registration.
Is your permit not yet in order? Send them in PDF format to the secretariat as soon as possible: vmcf.vzw@gmail.com and make your payment today to avoid a long queue during the weekend. A permit is only fully in order when we have received both the fully completed documents and payment.
Tip: Check your transponder in time! Is it sufficiently charged? Has your subscription been reactivated?
