AMPL: No match in Honville either
There will be no racing in Honville next Sunday. After the cancellation of the event in Libin last weekend, it is now Honville's turn to suffer the same fate. The opening of the AMPL Championship has been postponed again. It is now scheduled in Gérouville during the Easter weekend, on April 9 and 10.
“After the rainfall in recent days, the parking spaces on the meadows are impassable. The weather conditions predicted for this weekend do not allow any improvement and force us to cancel the 2023 Honville Motocross,” explains Marcel Mouton's organization.
“Motocross is your passion, but it also requires the use of a lot of resources. Motocross is about using nature and what it has to offer to create an outdoor sport. It is up to the organizer to do everything he can to ensure that the day runs smoothly and to respect the riders as much as possible. But for the farmer, motocross means lending land for parking, and that land is his working tool. One day's passion should not negate a year's work and everyone must show respect, whether at work or play. In life you have to be optimistic but also realistic. Managing means anticipating and reacting, but also protecting the future,” continues the president of the Honville club, which not only organizes an AMPL motocross every year, but also the famous Honville Cross Country.
