Scott Verhoeven wins the season opener in Lommel
In Lommel, Scott Verhoeven managed to win the first race of the Belgian 125cc Championship! The Yamaha rider did not get further than fourth place in the first heat. Later in the afternoon, the Brabander managed to control the match. Verhoeven started fifth and then rode very calmly into the lead. He wins the second round with a wide lead and also takes the day's victory ahead of Ian Ampoorter and Maeron Peeters.
