Maxime Renaux wins first series of MX1 in Italy
French Yamaha factory rider Maxime Renauw just won the first series in Ponte a Egola. He led from start to finish.
Renaux led the field from the starting gate and was followed by Jeremy Seewer and world champion Tim Gajser. There were very few position changes in this series, but that did not mean that Renaux was given the victory. Seewer and Gajser continued to apply pressure, but in the end Renaux did not budge and was able to win the series.
