Jur van Tuil awaits a long rehabilitation
Last Sunday, Jur van Tuil had an unfortunate fall during training. The student was hit from behind, causing him to lose balance and be hit by a quad bike. During the collision, the Gelderlander broke his arm and wrist in two places and because the adjustment did not work, an operation was performed.
This was carried out last week, but it also did not go without a hitch. The first thin pin could not be placed and after the clamp was loosened everything went crooked again. The second pin was slightly thicker, but the break still did not stay together properly. That is why it was decided to mount a plate with screws. It will now be in a plaster cast for the wrist fracture for about six weeks and the plate in the arm can be removed again in about five months.
