Jordi Tixier signs contract with KMP Honda
Jordi Tixier previously announced his retirement from the FIM MXGP world championship. The Frenchman will focus on the FIM Supercross World Championship. With only six matches on the calendar, Tixier has the opportunity to contest another series. And the former MX2 world champion will do that with KMP Honda Racing Powered by Krettek. Tixier will compete for the team from Ketsch in the ADAC MX Masters with Maxi Nagl as a direct teammate. Tixier won the title in 2020 and 2021 while Nagl is the current champion.
Scott Smulders will also play for the team, he will start in the ADAC Youngster Cup.
