Butron loses points after collision with Campano
In Lugo, Jose Butron remained scoreless during the second race of the MX Elite Campeonato de Espana. The KTM rider collided with Carlos Campano during the first moto at the Circuito MX Jorge Prado de Lugo. The reigning champion was hit from behind when the Yamaha rider jumped a triple and his predecessor did not! This crash left the 32-year-old rider scoreless and he lost the lead in the standings!
Even more injuries in Spain as Samuel Nilsson crashes at the start of the second round in the MX2 class. The GasGas rider, winner of the first heat, broke a collarbone in the crash. He also loses the lead in the Spanish championship standings.
