Adrien Van Beveren wins Enduro Vintage in Le Touquet
Today was the start of the 47th edition of the Enduropale du Touquet. The debates opened with the Enduro Vintage that has now become a tradition. Adrien Van Beveren decided at the eleventh hour to participate and won the race.
It was written in the stars that Van Beveren could be put forward as top favorite. He had only just returned from the Dakar Rally and managed to prepare a Honda CR500 for the one-hour race. He won the race ahead of David Herbretau (Honda CR500) and Arnaud Demeester (Yamaha YZ250). Van Beveren was no match for the rest of the field as he had a lead of 1:16 minutes at the finish.
