Lucas Coenen triumphs, De Wolf on the podium
Lucas Coenen has won the first race of the Campeonato de Espana de Motocross MX2. The Husqvarna rider managed to win both heats on the Montearagón circuit. The 16-year-old rider won ahead of Samuel Nilsson (2-4) and Kay de Wolf (5-2). Sacha Coenen (6-3) finished fourth in the daily rankings, the next race is at the end of this month at the Lugo circuit near Jorge Prado's parental home.
After nine months of injuries, Raf Meuwissen was behind the starting gate again. The Limburger finished 21st and 13th during the heats, gaining eight points for the championship.
