Robert Fobbe to Laurense Motors–Kawasaki Racing Team
Robert Fobbe will compete in the colors of Laurense Motors–Kawasaki Racing Team in 2023. It was previously announced that Kjell Verbruggen will continue to compete for the team, but he will move to the toughest class. This freed up a spot on the KX250F and after a number of tests, the motocross rider from Oldebroek decided to accept the deal with Kawasaki dealer Laurense Motors.
Robert Fobbe
“In recent years I had some bad luck with annoying injuries that held back progress. I immediately felt at home on the Kawasaki and the power really surprised me.
I was already aware that Kawasaki is known for its fine suspension and steering characteristics, but I now know that the horsepower is also good.”
Youngster Roan Bekkers completes the trio and has also made the switch to Kawasaki. Bekkers, who comes from Erp, is only starting his third competition season and has already shown great things. The trio will be active in the KNMV Dutch Masters of Motocross and the KNMV Open Dutch Championship. Verbruggen will participate in a number of MXGPs and we will see Fobbe at the start of a number of EMX250 races.
Harry Nolte (HNR) will prepare the engines of this team, Putoline will ensure that everything runs smoothly, Thor will provide the right decoration and WLM Designs will provide the most beautiful designs!
