Dakar: Seventh stage canceled for motorcyclists
ASO, the organizer of the Dakar Rally, has decided to cancel today's stage. Normally today there was the seventh stage between Riyadh to Al Duwadimi, but the bad weather has been bothering the motorcyclists for days.
The fatigue among the drivers is so great that it was decided to take an extra rest day today. Tomorrow there will be another normal stage and Monday will be the already planned rest day. The planned special is canceled and the motorcyclists drive to the Al Duwadimi bivouac in daylight. Tomorrow there will be the eighth stage over 346 km from Al Duwadimi to Riyadh. Husqvarna pilot Skyler Howes will start tomorrow as the leader in the standings.
