Mike Gwerder becomes a Grand Prix rider
A new name in the FIM MX2 World Championship as Mike Gwerder is promoted to the World Championship. The Swiss had a difficult season in which he only finished 16th in the European 250cc Championship, missing three races due to injury. He also made his GP debut and managed to score four World Championship points later in the season. Gwerder will compete for WZ Racing for the third year, with the ADAC MX Masters Youngster Cup on the program in addition to the Grand Prix.
