No Supercross for Justin Cooper
Justin Cooper will not be in action in the coming months. The Yamaha rider is not allowed to compete in the 250SX, as champion (2021) he can only defend his title in 2022. Due to an injury he was unable to do so, but his 250SX career came to an end. The American still has a 250MX contract with Star Racing-Yamaha, which means he will compete in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. It is not yet clear whether Cooper will be used in the upcoming supercross series in the event of an injury to Eli Tomac or Dylan Ferrandis.
