Junior E-motocross Series Track Day with Tony Cairoli
Track Days with Tony Cairoli was an exclusive end-of-season event that allowed the nine-time FIM Motocross World Champion to spend unlimited time on the track teaching riders. The weekend took place at the Ottobiano motocross circuit in northern Italy and was a unique opportunity for all participants.
With almost 20 riders from all over Europe, the event had a truly international flavor. With beautiful autumn weather and a perfectly prepared dirt circuit, it was a special weekend for the excited young people who all enjoyed riding with motocross legend Tony Cairoli on an FIM Motocross World Championship standard circuit.
Because Tony monitored each rider from the track, he was able to give each of them personal feedback on their riding technique and advice on how to improve their skills. All attendees benefited enormously from the exclusive guidance provided by the newly appointed Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team Manager. The weekend concluded with dinner and a final chance for the riders to take advantage of their time with Tony to ask any remaining questions, before enjoying a final photo opportunity with the MXGP icon.
The European Junior e-Motocross Series is entering its third season and registrations will open soon. Parents and guardians of interested riders are encouraged to contact the official website of the series for updates on the upcoming season and to secure their rider a place on the starting line for 2023.
Tony Cairoli: "It was truly a privilege to welcome so many kids from the European Junior e-Motocross Series to come ride with me in Ottobiano and celebrate their participation in the series. It's an exciting series and I think the experience the young riders gain during each race weekend, which takes place alongside the MXGP, will only help them develop as riders and prepare them for the future. The series is growing every year so I'm excited for its return in 2023. When I was a kid there was nothing like this so it's great to take kids into the paddock so they can see what it's like and can getting used to how big everything is with the trucks, the circuits and the entire infrastructure at a GP. We were blessed with fantastic weather in Ottobiano all weekend and everyone had a great time. I was really proud to be part of it and it was a lovely way to end the season for all the children who attended."
